gxfsfs1 single steps after deployments via xcat

systemctl enable NetworkManager
mv -f /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-xcat-eno1 /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eno1
systemctl enable nvmeof
  • put hostname to /etc/hostname
cat /etc/nvme/hostnqn
nqn.2014-08.org.nvmexpress:uuid:9ae49030-8add-41c2-83f7-4205e6c4f450
  • after new installation the NVMe nqn id of the gxfs server has changed and needs to be newly registered in the NetApp boxes. The host entry needs to be removed from the configuration and needs to be recreated. Just changing the nqn's in the host configuration will not work as the systems complains about non DA capabilities in that case.
reboot
